Great Place to Work

In 2018, Russmedia was included in the ranks of the best employers in Austria in the “Great Place to Work” employee survey and was also awarded the special prize “Best Employer in Austria for Corporate Education & Lifelong Learning” by the jury. With its training and further education program, Russmedia offers its employees a market-conform and future-oriented instrument that is further developed every year. Top trained internal and external trainers ensure a high level of quality.
The challenges of the media industry are constantly changing. Proactively responding to new trends and developments on the market has long been a premise of success for the international media company Russmedia.
1000 well-trained and motivated employees work for the company at 14 European locations across the Group. In order to continuously promote the success factor of employees at the Russmedia headquarters in Schwarzach, the Russmedia Academy offers all employees a platform to expand their know-how and acquire important skills and competencies for future challenges.
The academy’s offers seminars in sales, editing and leadership to personality development. If the training is useful for the company’s work, Russmedia covers the entire cost of the course.

Motivation on the fixed rope route

For certain topics, external experts are booked in addition to internal trainers, and unusual seminar locations are chosen. For example, a course on “How to motivate myself and my employees” took place at a dizzying height, in the middle of a via ferrata.

New year, new program

“In the past academy year, over 300 employees attended 40 different courses”,
says Claudia Probst, Head of Human Resources Development at Russmedia.

At the end of each academy year, the new program is finally developed as closely as possible to the employees based on the feedback from the participants.

“The Russmedia Academy leadership seminar prepared me very well for the daily work of a young manager. In addition, the exchange of experiences with other colleagues was very valuable.”
Claudia Nessler, Head of Classifieds
