People always stand at the center of Russmedia. For many years the company has cared for people in in need of help through a range of social commitments.
With the help of donations from readers, the “Vorarlberger Nachrichten” offer quick and non-bureaucratic support to people who ran into financial distress through no fault of their own, or have been harmed by natural disasters, since 1979. The heart of all activities is Marlies Böhler (picture), who is in direct contacts with those persons and families.

Hungary and Romania: „Segítünk – we help“
The Russmedia newspapers in Hungary and Romania also support important social engagement projects. “Segítünk” means “we help” and runs long-term projects as well as ad-hoc initiatives, such as recovery effots following natural discasters. The recurring initiatives are mainly centered around children. At Christmas, the company collects food and toys for poorer families and orphanages. Critically ill or handicapped children can receive financial support, collected through concerts and similar events.
